Workshops & Trainings

Two of the key challenges to equestrian and livestock facilities are mud and manure. If you are like many livestock properties, by the end of the rainy season, you and your animals are up to your knees in mud, or your property is quite literally washing out from underneath you. In addition, the rising cost of gas is driving the price of manure hauling through the roof.

Workshops are designed to introduce a variety of practices for equestrian and livestock facilities to address concerns such as erosion, drainage, mud and manure management. In addition to protecting local natural resources, installing Best Management Practices (BMPs) can improve chore efficiency, benefit animal health and facility safety, enhance land aesthetics, improve neighborhood relationships and in some cases even increase property values.
