The Livestock and Land program provides cost share assistance to livestock owners and boarding facilities who wish to implement projects on their property that improve water quality. These demonstration sites are living classrooms and a valuable resource to the community. They provide the opportunity for people to see first hand the implementation process, installation techniques and real life accounts of the projects’ successes and/or challenges.
To date we have 18 Demonstration sites throughout Santa Cruz, San Benito and South Santa Clara Counties. If you would like to schedule a visit to a site, have questions for the property owners or would like more information on how you can apply to the program, please contact Jennifer Harrison at 831-426-5925 ext. 132 or jharrison@ecoact.org.
